Grâce à XiVO, nous avons pu très rapidement installer 15 postes à disposition des pompiers pour une cellule spéciale. Nous avons reçu 2 000 appels dès le premier jour. Les pompiers du SDIS 02 ont ainsi pu se mobiliser très rapidement afin de répondre aux nombreux appels entrants.
The collaboration between the University of Lille and XiVO via its distributor Acipia began in 2013 with the project to overhaul the telephone installations of the University of Lille 2. This project consisted in homogenizing all the sites (about 2000 people for Lille 2) spread over the Lille metropolitan area. The switchover to ToIP was made gradually from 2014.
We chose XiVO for its easy and fast deployment, its autonomy, the unification of the telephony and its economic advantages.
We chose XiVO for its open source nature, interoperability and ability to integrate with our information system. The results: 3 call centres configured for teleworking in a few weeks to stay connected with our students.
On a day-to-day basis, everything is simple: consulting the directory, making a call, the extranet is also particularly useful and efficient for managing my operations.
We want to control the operation of our IT and telephone resources locally so that we can manage as much as possible in-house development and maintenance. We want a more compact technology portfolio, with a drastic selection of robust and flexible products.
We chose XiVO for its open source nature, its interoperability and its ability to integrate with our information system. The tool interconnects with our ERP, our BI solution, etc... There was also a strong stake for the business, sales and customer service.
XiVO's assistance from the preliminary project to the final implementation of the project, as well as the support, were very good from start to finish. The autonomy of administration and the simplified daily use of the solution are really a plus. There is a real ease of use for the users. From a user point of view, the solution is very easy to learn.
The advantages of XiVO for education are budgetary control thanks to the absence of a licence and the open source nature of the solution, close support from the publisher - there is no third party to deal with, which is a real advantage - and finally the stability of the solution.
